Tasting Notes: The 2019 Cuveé Christiane is a Bordeaux-style blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Malbec. The nose of this wine reveals a healthy dose of charred black cherries. The entry is youthful black cherry cola with limestone grittiness. Full bodied expression of a powerful 2019 vintage from Oakville. A little bit of tobacco leaf, green pepper, and green olive. The best part about this wine is the finish. There is definitely a youthful tannin that sits on the back of the tongue for a solid 2 minutes. This wine is definitely drinkable now, but holding it for 10-15 years is something this Cuveé can take without breaking a sweat.
